Just some random thoughts about marriage:
What we all hear about is: they got married
A lot of people who started with Marriage have soon discovered that not all roses are red. They found out that what they have is not Marriage, not even a merry-age(which they thought it was gonna be), nothing close, just a bad news that they have to live with for the rest of their lives.
For others, years of searching, its becoming and becoming more and more of a total Mirage.
this is what I was thinking:
Its easy to find a girl,
its harder to find a woman,
its hardest to find a wife,
its easy to find a boy
its harder to find a man
its hardest to find a husband.
‘they say’: women are more interested in the ceremony
and that men, are more of the matrimony,
but yes, because it has become a female status quo
if you are not married, you aren’t ‘it’, you haven’t arrived
….a level where all must reach ‘by all means necessary
the question is: after the ceremony, what next?
yet no one cares about: ‘how is your home’,
‘you have arrived’, yeah, but have you arrived in the right place?
for men, they’ll rather wait, and wait, and wait
until the world is perfect, until the sun almost sets
thinking: ‘why rush’, i’m the man.

there were many players before the wedding.
the wedding planners have their own team
friends of the family have their own team
the designers and officiating ministers have their own team
the flower girls even have a team.
Then, the wedding,
and all teams were happy and gleeful.
We all cut the cake
we enjoyed the picture poses
so many laughs and shouts.
we all wished them well.
But after,
they were back together,
it was game over.
I find this picture as the ideal definition of marriage:

game over, we watched with excitement the players before the wedding,
the field was full with jubilation on that day of the wedding,
game over – ‘the two of us’ are the only players after the wedding,
just the two of us, now and forever.
the players at the wedding won’t live with us,
after they visit the toilet, our cake and pastries are over,
game over – they will attend another wedding next saturday
we have crossed from ‘fiancee’ to ‘family’
game over because now they are stuck together
game over cos ‘where I go, she goes’ and vice versa
game over coz now, its the whole truth and nothing but the truth
game over coz ‘we have taken the first step’, together and forever
game over coz the real game has just begun.
This is very true:
I think a tech marriage is what the 21st-century needs: you know, no strings attached…
But maybe death does not have to do us part, only internet connectivity.
I have a neighbor and this is quite true about them. Its scary though: I mean, think about early morning sermons(the husband sermoning the wife, the wife sermoning the husband). I wonder why they never learn.

LOL!! True – but not in my case. (smile)
LOL @ the last cartoon… just the third year? haba…
[...] Minutes later, while parking, one dude was wearing t-shirt with “GAME OVER” that has a cartoonish pic. Ah wait, I’ll look for an image. (minutes later…) HERE. [...]
