This one is no joke. This is not Arnold Schwarzenegger, playing pregnant in the movie ‘Junior‘. Is this the real deal or just another film trick?

interview1 Mr. Lee Mingwei is not a transvestite, he is biologically and anatomically male. Mr Lee is pregnant and he isn’t faking it. He is carrying a baby. If ‘where will the baby come out from‘ crosses your mind, it is going to be Caesarian operation. Mr Lee says:

A lot of people have cast this endeavor as something terribly monstrous – a startling example of how science and medicine have simply gone too far. From my perspective, however, I am simply bringing a child into this world. There is nothing more natural and beautiful on this earth than that. This is something that I’ve always wanted to do.

Everybody has something to say: Scientists say ‘its possible‘, comedians say ‘Its funny‘, others say ‘its interesting‘, speechless people say ‘its mind boggling’, surprised people say ‘its wonderful‘, religious leaders say ‘its science gone too far‘ but they are not surprised since ‘its the end of time‘. I say ‘wow’.

In this interview, he says he doesn’t desire to become a woman, however, he would want to share the ‘wonderful feeling of being pregnant‘, the ‘joy and excitement that a pregnant woman feels nurturing a child within her own body’,  which his mother and sister have both experienced.

ht_pregnant2_080403_mn Now this one is different. There is another, ‘pregnant man‘, who was originally a woman. His name is Thomans Beatie, although born Tracy. Having undergone gender reassignment surgery,  over time he has grown a beard, taken a lot of testosterone, got married to a woman, and is legally recognized as a man. Since he had an intact vagina, although he was a man, he is now biologically pregnant(since he is originally a woman). In this ABCnews interview, he says :

Sexuality is completely different than your gender. It was difficult for society to respect the way I felt inside if I didn’t look like a man outside.

Now, between what we can see, what you are and what you feel inside, somebody’s gotta make a quick differentiation before something really bad happens.

While we might not entirely surprised about Thomas Beatie and his pregnancy, he has the right to have his own biological child, (since he was female from the beginning), and every other thing about him is just ‘film trick’, as far as science and technology is concerned, but  how about Mr. Lee, a complete male?

Its all happening at the RYT hospital, where ‘cutting-edge research that leads to the clinical treatments of the future. Mr. Lee is one of the research projects. Another of their projects is not genocide, but Genochoice. Its a simple idea:

The GenoChoice web site allows visitors to scan in their own genetic information online and determine the gene-related predisposition of their progeny. Once a sequence is finalized and an order is placed, e-mail updates on the users’ fetus and surrogate host mother are sent every week until the birth of their child.

I would really like to sit down here in Nigeria and create my own ideal Nigerian child. ‘Right-click‘ing on the  ‘create a child‘ button,  I would select properties and then type in the following initial three(3) properties:

1) to be born in the USA(because the PHCN does would not be able to support a Nigerian branch of the Genochoice institute),
2) he would be a handsome boy, tall and dark, with a 100% 419-free mentality(this is a major requirement).
3) he must have high ambitions like
Obama, he must be a Romeo, but not a heart breaker. He must have political ambitions, and be ready to take up the Presidential mantle by the age of 24. He would have a strong personality, an anti fraud and corruption attitude, and the willingness to deal ruthlessly with fraudulent politicians in his time, which might include putting all of them in a cargo-truck and shipping them off to China(political cleansing).

These are the initial 3 of 12 properties.

the questions we can ask are many:

q1) If God wanted men to have babies, he would have made us like male sea horses, instead of human beings ‘in His Image. Everyone can be of his or her own opinion, but can we really talk about male-pregnancy(a result of science) and not talk about God(the giver of wisdom)?

q2) between ‘technology that makes life more enjoyable’ and technology that goes against the plan of God, where is the dividing line? Why do we have a brain if we can’t strive towards ‘excellence’ and achieve the ‘impossible’?.

q3) in an ideal situation where a wife cannot reproduce(get pregnant) due to medical conditions, barrenness and or whatever reason, can the husband assume the position for this ‘all too important‘ 9-month project?

q4) Men are allowed to donate organs to support a surgery / medical procedure for a loved one(male / female), can the same ‘I want to help‘ idea be applied to male pregnancy? could childless-couples, rather than adopting choose to go with male-pregnancy?

q5) between sex, marriage and the root word ‘family’, if a man gets pregnant and gives birth, does he become a woman?

lets discuss: q1, q2, q3, q4 and q5

  1. [...] telling the world “How I did it”. I am very sure that he would be a contestant for the Man of the Year Award. Yet our man is languishing in Jail in Nigeria. [...]
