Green Card Whore – Nigerian Senator Ehigie Uzamere

No be me talk am o, na hin wife – Mrs Uzamere

American citizens must join hands to abolish permanent residence sponsorship through marriage — a national security dilemma that places the responsibiity of controlling U.S. border on the laps of legally unsavvy, powerless Americans who are either motivated by their desire for sex, their desire for love, their desire for money or a combination of the three. I am the wife of Nigerian Senator Ehigie Uzamere. Senator Uzamere used the false first name “Godwin” and the false birthday June 1, 1955 to marry me so that he could apply for permanent residence in the United States and then run off without being caught. Immediately after I signed the I-130 relative sponsorship form, he left me. I was pregnant with our daughter Tara when he abandoned me. Nearly 29 years later, I have finally triumphed over this green-card whore. I discovered irrefutable proof that the names “Godwin” Uzamere and Ehigie Edobor Uzamere both belong to Senator Uzamere. I triumphed over my husband’s clandestine attempt to use his friend, John Idehen, president of Edo Radio to challenge my right to use a video that shows my husband celebrating his bigamous marriage to another woman. However, the most important thing that happened is that I started a movement — a movement to abolish permanent residence through marriage. Permanent residence sponsorship thorough marriage is the worse provision of U.S. immigration policies that exists in the U.S. law code. If measured based on contract law standards, it would be viewed as unconscionable. If viewed based on national security needs, it is dangerous. If viewed based on the financial strength of most American sponsors, it would be costly. And if viewed in terms of criminal laws regarding violence against women, it would be seen as unconstitutional. I need your voice and the voices of all concerned citizens to rid America of this blight in immigration policy whose primary beneficiaries are money-hungry immigration attorneys.

    This woman is crazy. Just because she made a poor judgement does not mean that everyone else should suffer.

    What is her alternative? Nothing.

    Who can say but one wonders. When we get exploited what have we contributed to make this possible. Did we only see what we wanted see and close our eyes to what was in front of them. Are we angry because the other person had fantasies that did not coincide with our fantasy? Let us share the blame and perhaps reach a deeper understanding. Then there is nothing left to blame.

    This is Cheryl D. Uzamere, the wife of Senator Ehigie Edobor Uzamere.

    I wish to respond to a Rose post:

    Rose: “This woman is crazy. Just because she made a poor judgement does not mean that everyone else should suffer.
    What is her alternative? Nothing.”

    Mrs. Uzamere: Crazy??? Let me tell you what is crazy:

    1) An American marrying someone from a place where the American has no access to the person’s past records;

    2) An American, who has a job and financial responsibilities marrying a foreigner who has no legal papers, no money, and no traceable past;

    3) An American marrying a no-green-card-having, no-college-degree-having, no-money-having, illegal alien who has nothing to offer but a sex organ, smelly underarms and a dishonest immigration attorney.

    Let me ask you a question, Rose: How many of your people with college degrees, good paying jobs and financial responsibilities marry broke-ass Americans with legal problems?

    Who are you calling crazy, you stupid bitch??? The same way foreigners don’t want Americans with legal problems, we don’t want foreigners with legal problems either.

    GET A GODDAMN GREEN CARD FIRST — UNTIL YOU GET ONE, AMERICANS DON’T WANT YOUR ILLEGAL, BROKE ASSES.

    And as far as crazy is concerned, don’t mix me up with your President Alhaji-Musa-Hehi-Six-Pack-30-cars-bicycle-begging Yar’adua.

    While I sympathize with you my sister, I think your quest is a hard one. First, it will be hard for you to categorize it as ‘violence against woman’ cuz it happens to Men too.

    Secondly, most of the marriages that can be considered criminal are mutually agreed too (mostly for a fee).

    Thirdly that provision is for all countries not just Nigeria, this , if anything would just further expose your country as the bad one. It does happen all over, US Citizens deceive one another into marriages for one thing or the other too.
    You see, it will be hard to get supporters and to ultimately get the governing body to review your plea. I truly feel your pain cuz at the moment, i know people close to me that are currently going through what you went through. I will suggest you forgive, count your blessings and move on.
