QUESTION: who is greater: GOD OR PROPHET MOHAMMED

Hope you saw the picture above. If you didn’t, look again. That is a supposed small Islamic kid,  growing up in a western society, but slowly poisoned by his own Islamic parents – who have given him a death-sentence signboard to be carrying around at a tender age. If our young lad grows up and decides to blow up himself and the next available airline, he would really believe he was doing God a favor. As we daily write the dictionary of religion, by the time all is said and done, I am very sure that the words “religious violence” will have “Islam” as a synonym and vice-versa.

For the past few weeks, it has been one American Embassy or the other torn apart by Muslims because of some American movie. Its surprising though that the greater number of people living in America(Muslims and non-Muslims) didn’t even know or hear that such a movie existed on their own streets until THE UPROAR THAT SENT THE AMERICAN AMBASSADOR TO LIBYA TO AN EARLY GRAVE.

Muslims are fast to blurt out their hypocritical slogan: ISLAM IS A RELIGION OF PEACE, yet they do not mind killing anybody who has been judged to INSULT prophet Mohammed. 

What exactly is an insult to prophet Mohammed? what words or actions constitute an insult? and who is supposed to judge others? Is it these same Muslims who are guilty of every wrong-doing by action or omission that non-Muslims are guilty of? – all of us standing equal before the Almighty and Holy God, that will judge their fellow-men? I believe that someone who qualifies to judge another person who has committed a sin, must himself be without sin.

I would rather stoop in humility, aware of my own short comings and ask Jesus for forgiveness, while he wrote on the floor and said : ”Let him who has no sin throw the first stone”.

And who made it a law that the prophet Mohammed should deprive the whole world of freedom of speech? Did this prophet actually instruct his followers: KILL ANYONE WHO INSULTS MY NAME? or did God look down from WHEREVER ISLAMISTS GO WHEN THEY DIE and proclaim to all of mankind that anyone that “insults” prophet mohammed is worthy of death?

With the way things are going – Islamic violence around the world, its like there is another dimension to my previous post titled: MUSLIMS AND CHRISTIANS, WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN OUR GODS? Thus my question today: WHO IS GREATER: GOD OR PROPHET MOHAMMED?

If Muslims are so convinced that it is right to kill anyone that insults the prophet, this prophet must be either God himself or equal to God Almighty.

But if God is greater than prophet Mohammed, why are Muslims violent only at the insult of this particular prophet? What about other prophets in the Quran? are they not important? At least, the Bible and Quran agree on some similar prophets: Adam-Aadam; Noah-Nuh; Abraham – Ibrahim; Aaron-Harun; Elijah-Ilyas, just to mention a few.

 

1) Question: Is prophet Mohammed greater than prophet Abraham or prophet Moses?

If any Muslim would answer “Yes” to the above question, then prophet Mohammed is indeed God? Then I would say welcome to all Muslims around the world for arriving where the Christians have been(trinity) since the beginning of time. The next question I would ask them ofcourse is that how many people make up their God-head, coz now we have God, and prophet Mohammed. If there are only two, then the Christians just have an edge with the Holy Spirit to make up their own third number.

But if prophet Mohammed is not equal to God and isn’t greater than fathers’ Abraham and Moses, then I would still ask: why hasn’t anyone been killed for insulting Abraham and Moses and whoever else is there? what is so special about prophet Mohammed that Muslims have to kill every living thing that they consider to have insulted him? Unfortunately prophet mohammed isn’t around to proclaim the judgment himself, its his disciples, who are as sinful as those they are judging.

 

2) Question: Is an insult against prophet mohammed equal to an insult against God? If Yes, then perhaps prophet Mohammed is indeed God. At least, the Christians make their own lives simpler by believing that there is a trinity; and there is no difference in sins against Jesus only, sin against God, sins against the holy spirit. Sin is sin and it has to be repented of, else you land in hell fire – in the Christian faith. And if an insult at prophet mohammed is different from an insult against God, then I again ask why nobody has been killed for insulting prophet Moses, coz definitely mohammed didn’t achieve 50% of what Moses achieved – leadership wise. It is still easier to tell children the story of Father Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, etc., than Mohammed.

 

3) Question: how then do I explain Jesus and Mohammed to a third party, someone who isn’t Christian or Muslim? Suppose I’m being asked to present the two faiths equally from history, past and present of both men. Ok, let me try:

Jesus: the Bible teaches that Jesus came to seek and save the lost, he came to save man-kind, he preached about the Love of God, and even offered himself as a sacrifice for the salvation of us all. He did not tell his disciples to kill unbelievers, he even told them to turn the other cheek when wronged.

Mohammed: the number of people whom his disciples(Muslims since the beginning of time) have killed because of him(mohammed) are more than the number of people he killed himself. Though dead, he continues killing people.

Rather than kill people for insulting only Mohammed, why not kill people for insulting each of the prophets mentioned in the Quran? I firmly believe the will of God should be completely done, and God has no favorite prophet. The Christian faith emphasizes this as Gods own Son, Jesus was the first one who died on the cross, not Abraham, not Moses, not anybody else.

Someone says:

The Quran contains at least 109 verses that call Muslims to war with non believers.  Some are extremely graphic with commands to chop off heads, etc.  You only have to look at countries were Islam is dominant (such as Middle East & Pakistan) here other religions suffer brutal persecution.  This does not occur in Western (Christian) countries who are tolerant of Islam.  In fact I would go as far as saying that violence is so ingrained in Islam that muslims have never stopped being at war, either with other religions or with themsleves.  Each year thousands of Christian homes and churches are torched or bombed by muslim mobs.  Yet, there is little violent retribution from Christians.  What I find strange is that Muslim clerics in the West do not fear for their safety as do their Christian counterparts.  A recent fact showed that almost 70% of the world’s refugees are muslims fleeing violence from their homelands and usually seeking a safe passage to a Christian country. The above are table facts, and unfortunately leaders in the Islamic circle do not see any problem with this. I assume that they should be more concerned about the reputation of the Islamic faith as a whole and take necessary actions to teach adherents to uphold what is right and not resort to violence for non-issues.  Here is what someone else says: ISLAM IS A VIOLENT RELIGION.

 

Question: when someone gets killed for blaspheming prophet Mohammed, is this murderous act rewardable by God?, please quote Quranic reference.

I have no answer for this, perhaps my dear Muslim brother or sister, you can help me out with an explanation. I am wondering though, why God would be delighted at the death of someone who insults/blasphemes the name of one of his prophets(Mohammed, in this case), knowing fully well that such a person could have been preached to, converted and added to the list of saints and instrumental in preaching to others / winning more souls?

The question still remains: WHO IS GREATER, GOD OR PROPHET MOHAMMED and WHY DON’T MUSLIMS KILL PEOPLE WHO INSULT OTHER PROPHETS?
